Default tire weight????

i am looking at toyo open country mt in 37-13.50-17 and nitto trail grappler in 37-12.50-17.i have been told the toyos are very heavy.is this due to the extra inch of width or are they just that much heavier then the nitto tg?people say they are pretty much the same tire and cant find weight of the nitto.can anyone confirm weights please.buting today.

They are essentially the same carcass, just different tread pattern. Regardless of what people "say", the tire is over 90lbs and less than 95lbs. Hopefully that helps you out and was the answer you were looking for.

I believe the exact weight on the Toyo site is 92.6lbs?

And if I recall, they dont make the trail grappler in a 37x12.50. Or do they?

I am running the trail grapplers in 37x12.50/17, and I weighed one and it came out to 81-82 pounds!!!
