Tires
We have sold our house and plan to take off traveling around the US come Dec. We also plan to pull the jeep behind our motorhome.
I'm running 12.50 35 Trail Grapplers now and love the tire but I'm going to be putting a bunch of miles on them while sight seeing and probably not as much trail riding as I might like. So I hate to run all the rubber off these tires at the price they cost while just being pulled around behind the motor home. Plus they are a heavy tire and doing something smaller might help in the mpg area.
We without a doubt will still do some off roading but probably nothing crazy being out on the road and totally reliant on it for daily transpotation.
Pondering just finding a set of stock Rubi tires to put back on but do you have any suggestions of something that might fit the bill just as well?

I also tow my jeep behind my MH. The way I look at it is this. The amount of money I spend on another set of wheels for towing would pay for the next set of tires. This way I'm not sacrificing the look because I wouldn't be happy with a smaller set and if I do find a nice place to wheel I'm ready to go. Just food for thought. Beer!

A set of take-off wheels and tires would serve you well. The Rubi tire is preferred, but I wheeled a lot of trails on SRAs last winter, mostly just to find what they could do. Surprisingly, they did well but I never went near mud

I now run stock Rubi tires with a 2.5" lift. With spacers they don't look that small - instead it looks like the tire has plenty of room to work, which seems correct to my eyes. I've come to appreciate the 10 x 32 because of the versatility, low cost, decent mileage, and light weight.
