Which tires?
I'm trying to decide between Mud terrain KM2's and Toyo open country MT's what doe you guys think. I've always been happy with bfgoodrich's products. But no experience with toyo-thanks
Its like which Olsen twin you're going to sleep with, it probably doesn't matter too much.

The KM2 is a newer design, but, the OC MT has been a strong performer...and both seem to be great off road tires....there may be a slight mud advantage to the OC, and a slight rock advantage to the km2...but both are strong performers that are bearable on the road as well.
Do look at the available size and load ranges..they differ there...and the prices seem to favor the km2 in most locations.

Toyo's are much heavier tire I believe 33's are about 6lbs heavier than other M/T's on the market and 35's are about 8-10lbs heavier compared to other's on the market. So, if you are looking at 5 tires....that's about 30-50lbs extra to haul around. I know when I get my 35x12.5R18's flipped over to my winter rims on my CTD.....the tire grunts just moan & complain about the weight of my tires and rims!
But they are a great tire, great wearing and not noise on the highway. Just another draw back on the Toyo's is cost is a little higher than other M/T's

I've got a set of 305/65/17 KM2's on my 2dr, and I love them... These tires are great off-road in any conditions, and their on-road handling and noise level is great.. .Very similar to BFG AT's... I've only ever heard one horror story about toyo's, something to do with a corn stalk going through the tread, and the dealer wouldn't do anything about it.. But I don't know the exact situation....
