I'm a big fan of the Coopers. I have had the ATPs in 33 on my jeep for 2 years and couldn't be happier. Coopers silica compound is awesome. Sticky on wet and have worn well. I have 23 k on this set and still have 10/32 tread (they were 16/32 new). The ATP tread really is almost a hybrid AT/MT tread and hooks up well off road. They haven't been noisy. They are predictable in the snow. Again the silica compound is predictable in wet and snow. They flex well when aired down. Double check on the the ply rating. I think the ATPs are 2 ply and the STT and ST Maxx are 3 ply. They have durable and did take a good 2k to break in. Cooper makes Mickey Thompsons and Dick Cepeks. If you look at the treads and sidewall builds, you will see the similarities. So you're basically getting a $400 flashy-brand tire for $250 in 35.
