Default Tires Poll

Ok, I have a 2011 Wrangler Unlimited Sport S. Auto, with 3.73 Gears. Just received my 17x9 Pro Comp 7069s with 4.75 BS. I also just ordered my TF 2.5 Coil Lift w/ Shocks from Northridge last night. Should be here by the end of the week. What tires should I get? Have it narrowed down to a few. I am not looking to go 35s, not really interested in regearing, and only do mild trails. Selections above, in the poll.

You may want to stick with the 285 tires with the bs 4.75 on you rims and even then your rear sway bar links may be close to rubbing with the 2.5 tereflex lift.

I was just looking at that kit, 4.5 BS required it says. Doh! Guess I need to call TF and make sure before I return my rims..

I'm just speaking from my experience I had 285 75 16's on rims with 5" bs when I installed the kit and it rubbed bad, so I went to a 35x12.5x15 on a rim with 4"bs and it clears now. Another option is to run spacers for the wheels you have.

Good luck...

I got 4.75 BS because I did not want them to stick out of the fenders too much. I may just return them for the Black Rock 909Bs I was going to order. They are 17x8 with 4.5 BS.

I have a 2011 Rubi Unlimited with the 2.5" Teraflex and I am running 33" BFG KO's and have so much room I could have put on 35's with no issues of rubbing. But I like you did not want to go the regearing again so I stayed with something that works well for me and I think looks great, while still delivering a great ride, no re-gear an speedo adjustements, and it runs great off-road. Oh Oh, there I go again breaking the "Tire Rule" for JK owners and not going bigger, and bigger , and bigger.,

I was referring to rim back spacing and not tire size.... if this comment was in reference to mine.

I actually contacted TF about this a while back since i have 4.75 BS as well. They said it shouldn't really be much of an issue. They said that to prevent people using stock wheels and the lift and then complaining that they were having rubbing issues.

I voted MTR Kevlars only because they are the biggest size available to vote on. Bigger is better!
