I think iv decided! 17x9 wheels (4.5 back spacing) and 285/70r17 tires with a 2inch coil lift! Everything should fit without rubbing right??

You should be good with that setup.

I have 17X9 and I am about to install them with 35"s. The reason I decided to go with that is for a reason many people overlook. If you look at each tire manufacturer, they will tell you what rim width they recommend for each tire and size they make. Now, I know many people use the stock rims and have no problems, but if the tire manufacturer recommends a specific rim width (presumably for safety?), I decided I would ere on the side of caution and safety. I liked the stock rims, but they are not recommended for any tire size larger than the stock 32"s, as far as I have seen. So, I just decided that new wheels made me feel a little safer.

To each his own, but I think you have made the wise decision as well.

Awesome! When I get it all put together I will post pics! One last thing, I think Iv decided to go with Moto Metal 951 wheels (black) but am a little undecided on tires. Want good looks, aggressive, but still good on the street? Any thoughts?

I'm going with Goodyear Duratracs and have heard great things about them. They look really aggressive, too. Take a look, you may like them. Another good tire to look at is Nitto TerraGrappler. It was what I was going with before I changed my mind. I am sure there are several other good choices out there, perhaps Goodyear SilentArmor, others by Nitto, or even Cooper.

Just got done ordering DuraTracs myself this evening. Going with a 17x8 BlackRock Viper wheel with the 285/70/17 rubber on it. No lift, for now, as I have seen enough pics and threads that point to not needing one.
