Tires and Wheels
I have a 2011 Rubicon Unlimited with a Teraflex 2.5 lift. This rides great and the lift is all I need for my type of driving. My problem comes with the stock tires and wheels. I have an opportunity to put on some new 33" KM2's and Procomp wheels at a great price from Bryan at 4WD. My main concern is whether this will cause me any issues with steering or other problems. These would be shipped to me mounted and balanced, and I would only have to install them. Can anyone advise as to if I could see any negative issues in this regard?
I don't see where they could cause you any trouble at all. I am running 35s on procomp wheels and my steering is fine and if anything it is even more stable than before. Sounds like a good deal.
As long as the back spacing of the wheels is 4 1/2" or less, they should just bolt right up. Your 410 gears will be fine. After awhile, those 33s will start to look a little small for the lift, but that is just a personal thing. IMO 35" tires would be a better choice, but if you have an auto, 513 gears would be better and 488s for a 6 speed. With that said 33s are still a good choice that doesn't require any gear changes and it will go offroad more places than you can imagine.
