Default TJ side view mirror

has anyone seen a kit or figured out a way to install TJ side view mirror to the wind shield. I always liked the looks of the mirrors and think it may look cool. With warm weather hopefull coming soon i need to figure out what I'm going to do for side mirrors when i take the doors off.

Is it safe to assume you are refering to a 97-02 side mirror? Because, the 03-06 mirrors look a lot like the JK mirrors now. Also, you are aware that the TJ mirrors have a hard time staying in place right? Having said all that, you would most likely have to fashion some kind of a bracket that would attach to your door hinges or windshield bolts.

I had an extra YJ mirror that I mounted to my windshield. The mounting holes are very close. I had to use 4 washers, 2 top and 2 bottom, to shim where the mirror mounts to the bracket. When I have the doors on I just push it forward and the A pillar blocks it from my view. When the doors are off I just swing it back down into place. I only have it mounted on the drivers side.

Default Mopar Mirror

The mopar mirror relocation kit is just a TJ mirror with a metal bracket. I've got it for when the doors come off. It's about $50 from your dealer. The mirror is solid with no vibrations when driving.

Here you can see the bracket. The mirror attaches with 3 bolts and just takes a minute to put on.

Here's the only pic I have that you can see the mirror on, but it's from the wrong side...

I broke the original mirror that came with it. The chrome one is from a local auto parts store, it was only about $7. If I get bored I am going to paint it black.
