Default Toe- In Question

I am going to try to check/adjust my toe-in tomorrow. I am following the write up on project JK and am wondering which way to turn in this step;

"Firmly grab the tie-rod’s knurled adjuster and rotate it a little bit at a time taking measurements along the way. "

Rotate towards front/rear? Towards front to bring the tires in?

The instructions do not mention to jack the tires off the ground, is this recommended to adjust easier?

I've done this soo many times lately. I beleive that toward the front brings the wheels closer together.

You want the tires on the ground to get acurate measurements. Are you get it set then do a short test drive and check the measurements.

It is very easy to do an alignment on our JK's.

Just look at the threads. If it's threading in it will be making the tie rod shorter which would increase your toe in. If it's threading out, lengthening the tie rod, you'll be decreasing your toe

Took measurements and I have 1/8th and a half closer in the front than the rear. I guess I could come in a little bit on the front. The writeup says 1/8th is ideal for jks.

I have a slight vibe at hwy speed and think its a balancing issue. I wont be able to get them rebalanced till tomorrow so I may try to adjust this today. Will 1/16th of an inch make that much of a difference?

Sean

edit. Im running 35" bfg Ats and a the RC 2.5 BB lift.

Can you post or PM me the link to the write up? I'd like to check this out, I'm always worried my toe is out and my grapplers are going to wear out.
