Default Tom Woods driveshaft

I have a 1310 tom woods driveshaft

The cv joint part is clicking, its not a u joint.

Can something like that be picked up at the parts store

Its the rear and its 6 inch lift

I greased everything up when I changed the oil last week

but that cv joint fitting was impossible to see unless I took the whole shaft off so I didnt know it was even there.

That's a lot of lift.

Did you talk to TW when you ordered the shaft and tell him the amount of lift.

If so, I am little bit surprised he didn't recommend dual-cardan shafts.

How is the front one doing?

It is double cardan there is the cv joint in between the two u joints at the transfer case

I told mbatf what i had he told me what to measure

The fronts fine and the rear was fine untill a few days ago.

My suggestion, drop the ds , inspect for play, change u-joints while your at it and grease that center cv joint. You may not be able to tell a u-joint is going out until you drop it. Clicking could be a needle bearing. How long has the shaft been on?

6 months 6000 miles

I already pulled it off the play is in that cv

The u joints were good you move that cv back and forth and you can hear it click

Guess Ill just call monday and see what they want to do.
