Default Tools for a Lift

Hey guys,

Due to the overwhelming majority of people on here that say lift kits aren't too hard to put on, I've decided that once I get a lift I'll just suck it up and do it myself and maybe with a friend or two on the weekend. My problem is, I don't have very good tools, and am just going to start over and buy brand new sets. Can someone just make me a list of entire sets I need to get to accomplish a lift? I need a jack and jack stands I guess too. How many jack stands will I need? I have very little mechanical knowledge, but i guess if I can read directions and ask questions as I go on here, it shouldn't take more than an entire Saturday, I hope. I've read through several of WOL's step by step lifts on Project-JK, and I think it's pretty manageable to put on a 2.5 lift. Thanks for helping me out guys.

For my lift i only used 2 jack stands, did the front, then the rear afterwards.. Depending on your kit you'll probally need a 21,22mm wrench and socket, along with smaller sizes
Also a 18MM socket and a 33mm if you're replacing the pitman arm

I'm thinking my lift kit had a section in the instructions for what tools were needed. Of course I didn't bother to read it. My thought was that between my dad and I, we had plenty of tools. Needless to say he ended up driving to the auto parts store for a metric socket. Don't remember the size.

So a whole metric wrench and socket set would be a good start? I've also read on other posts that I will need a breaker bar, a torque wrench, and maybe a socket extension. What kind of jack do i need? I'll probably get 4 high jacks stands.
