Default Tools Needed

I have read the thread on gearing and and several friend that have done it and will be willing to help. So now I am looking for the tools I need. If you have ever done your gears what kind of press did you use and flange tool holder. I have everything else I need.

The other question is with only 20k miles do you recommend new bearings or try and reuse the old ones.

These two may help, if you haven't found them already.

If you mean a tool to hold the yoke when tightening the pinion nut you can use some steel stock that is about 1 inch by quarter inch or maybe eighth inch with holes drilled for the two screws to hold it onto the yoke. You might have to grind it to make a curved area to clear the lip that goes around the yoke.
