Default TOPLIFT Pros Experience

Good Evening all, If this is not in the right area I apologize.
I wanted to make everyone aware, of the current experience I had with TOPLIFT Pros. Fred and Barry have been a nightmare to deal with. I received my lift last Wed and I when I went to put it together everything went down hill. Chips every where but worst of all the whole unit is out of alignment. Most importantly Fred and Barry have been very unresponsive. The best part of it all is, after I put it together I contacted them, I had to call 4 times to get an answer. Barry say no worries John we want to make you happy and make sure you can get the top off, go ahead use it and we will send a new unit out right away. Once you get the new unit box up the old one and you should be set. Days go by days not a word. Call back 4 times, Barry say he sent all my photos to Fred and he will call me. Another two days go by I text Barry and ETA on Fred. Fred calls me that evening, and say oh you will have to wait till the new shipment on the 12th, I say can you tell me why this is ridiculous. I paid you $1100 and it don't lift shit. Well we may have had a bad batch, so what I need you todo is once you get the new one wrap up the old one that same way you got it zip ties and all. I need you todo this so I can then ship it back to the manufacture and we can face time and see what the issue is. Not, John so sorry, hey can you do this and I will compensate you for your time, nothing. So I think it over for a day and say you know what I will be there on the west coast and I will bring it back to you all I want is a refund ( I threw away the original boxes) because I was to use the new ones. Fred says he is in Melbourne, I say well thats not going to work, can you send me the boxes. No John thats too expensive, go find some boxes behind a furniture store oh and some bubble wrap too and send it back. I explained that is not going to happen and dead silence.

Chipped Corner

Passenger side front slight off

Driver Still touching even though passenger was off

Level front to back, all weight goes on front two post

You can see the top is torqued left.

Guys, when you buy a contraption that is this complicated, do you expect it to be 100% level and perfect? wtf. Just build something....there's hundreds of plans out there, or get a hoise if you have a garage. Good grief. I apparently missed this back in 2018.

Thx for not flaming me!

Also for your interest..I dont want to drill into my carport. It has cedar wood like what u would see for hardwood floors. The sofits are like that too..Match the cedar on the ceiling in the house.

Thx for the quick replies though
