Default Torn - aev or ome????

Guys, I've read so much on suspension kits and have narrowed it down to these 2 kits. I'm ready to pull the trigger and order, but just want to get a few last opinions on which way to go. It's either the AEV XT 2.5" or the OME 2" kit I'm looking at. I've heard great things about both kits and price difference is minimal. Has anyone out there had experience with both kits and prefer one over the other?

Keep in mind this is mostly a daily driver on road, with the occassionaly off road adventure. I'm talking 95% on road 5% off road. I do run 35's, have the heavy front/rear bumpers, winch, spare 35", etc. So lots of additional weight.

Thanks in advance for your opinions.

I have the 2.5 AEV on my 2012 JKU. My jeep is my DD and this lift rides better than stock. I have heavy front / rear bumpers and there is no sag.

I also run the AEV. The ride is great. I would highly recommend the LCA correction brackets. I have a friend who also has the AEV without the correction brackets and mine rides noticeably better

I agree. I installed them on mine last night and it is a night & day difference.

I've been running the OME lift for 5 years. It's been great both on and off road.

flip a coin, either will be fine for you. Don't fret over it. You are really not that heavy, mb 30lbs per corner over the factory weight.

I also run AEV on my 2012 with the LCA correction brackets. The handling and ride on road is awesome and dirt roads even better.. The LCA bracket are worth the $99 and a little lower clearance. I have heavy bumpers, winch and dual battery setup and no sagging. I also looked at the OME but decided on the AEV.

OME/ARB is pretty much my whole rig so far. Great company, great components. Always pleased.

Hmmmm, still a toss up but it looks like either way I'd be good.

If I did the OME kit, would it still be a good idea to purchase the LCA correction brackets? I read on the AEV site that they fit the 2.5 kit, and other brands as well?

I did the 2" springs and feel no need for the brackets. Decreased ground clearance if you use them too.
