I'm thinking of finding an upgrade to the fasteners around the windshield etc....looking to see if anyone knows the specs? Thinkin a quick shot of black Rustoleum on the ones there now - mine are getting pitted and should rust out soon - so I thought I'd look for a replacement/better set......

 

I would just pull one out and take it to your local Ace or TrueValue specialty hardware section. You should be able to find some good metric hex replacements but I doubt you will be able to find torx ones.... maybe McMaster Carr.

 

Thanks...will do that .....but my new priority is to get my hartop on....we had our first snowfall here in Western Canada.....
