towing jk
Yes, I tow behind my RV with an ARB front bumper. I had my original Mopar tow bar modified to work with the front of the bumper. Custom Off Road Equipment in OKC did the work and it tows better than it did as its now much higher quality.
The bracket hanging down is the original bar that was widened by the shop and side plates were bolted to the front bumper. Holes were drilled so I could take the bar off and still use D rings when off road.

I have the Blue Ox tow bar and mounting bracket on my '07 Sahara. I tow approx. 10,000 miles a year behind my motorhome and have had no problems with tracking or tire wear. The only thing about the Blue Ox that I have been unhappy with is the six pin umbilical sockets that have failed twice with the pins pushing in and not making contact. The factory has been no help with this problem. I like the tow bar but because of the wire problem that they admit they have had problems with and will not help me with I will probably go to Roadmaster the next time around.
I had a local welding shop make brackets that could hook up to the Roadmaster towbar. Then I cut the crush cans off the Mopar bumper and bolted the brackets in place. I found a guy who powder coated the brackets to match the bumper. I got the idea/confidence to do this from another member who posted his set up. My towbar is not extended but this gives you an idea

Now that I have this set up I would like to have done it with a different bumper, like a mid width. Nothing wrong with it, I went with the Mopar bumper because I was going to use the Roadmaster brackets on it. But after I got them and held the bracket in place I just felt that it mounted to low.
