Default Towing with LOD bumper

I have an LOD bumper installed on my Jeep. Is the LOD bumper able to tow with it's built in trailer hitch. If it can does anyone know the amount of weight it is able to take. Thanks for the help.

I have towed by new Ranger Z520 bass boat with mine. I have the bumper welded to the side of the frame along with bolted on. Thats a pretty heavy load and it did fine!!

Default Towing with LOD bumper

Since it hooks on where the factory hitch did, plus reinforces in other places on the bumper, I'd feel fine towing the max rating of the jk. Just make sure you get the safety chain mount plate from LoD. I towed a fully loaded uhaul 4x8 enclosed trailer with mine, about 1400lbs total, with no issues. I don't have my safety chain mounts yet but luckily thr chains were long enough I could safely in my mind hook them to the d rings I have on there. Just made sure they were adjusted so I could still do a full turn without getting tension on the chains.

The big issue is staying under the max. towing weights. The bumper can tug more than the 3.8L.
