Default toyo balancing problem

Can Mavis properly balance a 33x11.5x17 toyo M/T? I brought my 1 month old tires to one who did it however claimed my tires almost broke their machine because they were so heavy... The shop had just opened up a month or 2 prior.. Tires are definitely still out of balance and are vibrating/wobbling a little... Is it worth going to another Mavis that is experienced who does a high speed balancing however not road force if they'll do it for free after one shop did not properly balance them the first time?

wow, i've NEVER taken the time to balance a single toyo that i've ever owned as they all mounted up and rolled round. having said that, the americas tire/discount tire near me can road force balance a 40" tire or, so they've told me. still haven't needed to use their services though.

i was also told that they cant road force balance a 35" mud tire.. regardless of brand.. But as WOL said.. discount tire does it all the time.. so it might just be the equiptment that our local shops have..

Anybody that tells you they can't properly balance a tire is full of shit. I've mounted and balanced tires as a part of my job for 8 years now. I've balanced everything from 14 inch radials to 44 inch Boggers without a hitch. As long as the balancer is calibrated there should be no issues as long as the person operating it knows what they're doing.

I second that, I have never balanced any Toyos I have owned and they ran good.

Hmmm, my former Toyos certainly didn't take much weight although I'm sure the first couple thousand miles would have been a little rough without any balancing. My Goodyear MTRs I couldn't even imagine rolling around on them without balancing.

im running the 33x17 toyo open country M/T's and I have no issues with my tires at all.
on and off the hwy they seem great. I would bring them somewhere else and complain to the shop and a lot of people are running the same tires with no issues
