Toyo mts on a d30
I really love the look of the toyo mt that's the tire I want to run on my rig. Im installing sleeves c gussets and lca skids in the next few days ill also have 5.13 gears chromoly shafts and a Aussie locker. I'll have a Detroit out back with shafts as well. Do you think the d30 can handle the 37/1350/17 toyos they are 92lbs a pop. Or would I be better off running the 35/1350/15 at 76lbs or 35/1250/17 at 82lbs. Im almost positive these are the tires I wanna run. I no they do well on the rocks but how are they in mud and clay hills that's about all that's in my local area but I'm planning some trips to play in the rocks as we speak. My main consern is the d30 how do you think it would handle a tire of this weight? Or does weight really play that big of a roll?
You want 37's, so get 37's. Will the extra weight make a difference? Yes. But unless you personally are swapping from a lighter 37 to the heavy toyo's, or vice versa, the difference in weight/mass will be meaningless to you. Put them on and go enjoy your jeep.
