Default Toyo MTs -- what pressure are you running?

I just put on some Toyo MT LT285/75R16s and left the garage with 30 PSI. I did the chalk thing and brought it down to 28 PSI, but thought I might be able to go lower - maybe down to 26-27 PSI.

What are you guys running in your Toyo MTs?

And I know you guys love pictures, so here's one of our baby with new shoes. :-)

Thanks,
js.

Thanks!

I'm planning on the 2" OME Heavy Load springs + shocks and FT Ultimate arms + trackbars. I also have an AEV bumper and Garvin roof rack on order. _That_ should make her stand out a bit more. :-)

BTW, just driving back from the garage I got THREE compliments on the wheels! One girl in a Liberty was so excited, I thought she was going to flash me! <grin>

50 & 40 psi......LOL.....must feel prety stiff....

I'm running my 35's at 25 or 26 psi can't remember exactly....with the load range of the Toyo's you gota run them low on the jeeps. oh yea I've got like 6500 miles on my tires and they are wearing just fine with that tire pressure.

And I thought _mine_ were stiff at 30 PSI! They felt a lot nicer at 28 PSI. :-)

Ah, that's what I thought. I wasn't sure if I should go lower than 28 PSI, but now I'll definately try 26 PSI and see how that feels.

Thanks!

Are you guys still running at 28 psi. I finally got my Toyo MT's last night and the tire shop has them at 50 psi. I am having a hard time getting my head around dropping the psi down to 28 and I am curius how your tires are ridding and wearing. I am still using the stock Sahara rims and I thought I would chalk the tires this weekend and check for crowning.

I'm running at 42 psi on the road! They were set at 50 from my tires shop, but when I aired down, then reaired up, I played with the pressure. I'm runniing a two door, so i'm at less weight. I'd be nervous running anything on the road less then 32-35psi!

Try it. You'll notice it handles better.

I have a 4 door and was running 27 psi. Since I added the bumper and roof rack, I went up to 28 psi.

42 is a bit stiff if you ask me.. 28-32 should be fine on the highway as long as its wearing right..not sure what makes you nervous.
