wouldn't you know? you have a 2007 in your sig line...
check your manual, I also heard 07's didn't
or air one of you tires down to say 10psi and see if the light comes on

one may think they could ask a simple question without a smart statement...... yes, I do have a 2007 and obviously do not know hence the reason for asking the question.

It's actually a good question if you have never had the tires off the rims, because the owners manual in my 07 is full of information on the TPMS. Everything i have read on this forum says it was not standard until 08, but an option for 07.

I am in need of tires and Im looking at tires off a 2012 that match my factory Bridgestone's I have in my 2007 Sahara. Can I purchase the tires and take them into be mounted if they have a TPMS? Will they still work in my 07 even though I dont have TPMS? Will I run into problems? Thanks

The TPMS is really just a fancy valve stem. If you just want the tires (and not the 2012 rims) then the sensors will stay on the rims.

If you put the 2012 wheels on the 07 jeep, the TPMS in them won't matter because the 07 isn't "looking" for them.
