Default TPMS in 2010?

Anyone know why my TPMS light is not on 4 days after putting on my 35s with no sensors? Does the Hypertech programmer turn this off? it did not mention that as an option when I programmed??

Ummmm... maybe the computer recognizes that there's no sensors connected?

Mine once took over a week before it realized the sensors were stacked in the garage. Give it some more time. If the pressure drops it triggers quickly. If a sensor disappears it takes a while.

Ok, I was hoping for a "it died" response so i dont have to listen to that annoying tone. We will see what happens in a couple of days. Thanks

Mine took driving for about 20 miles for it to kick on. The JK computer is SLOW at learning and sensoring things. Had my computer flashed at the dealer the day before a state inspection and it took 130 miles for all my sensors to be back online before I could pass emmissions.

The Hypertech, to my knowlegde, does not allow you to turn off TPMS (at least it didn;t when I pwned it). Procal and Superchips both allow it.

Mine did same thing. Drove around for a week with no sensors and no alarm. Finally used procal to set pressure to 0 just in case it decided to work.

The procal may be it. johnnyquik who helped me isntall the lift hooked his procal up to help with teh steering wheel center, he may ahve doen the tpms also. I am hoping at least. When you run the program through Hypertech, will that overwrite what the procal did?

I ran the Hypertech and procal together with no issues. Just be sure that you are not using both for the same thing such as tire size adjustment. I believe I used the Hypertech for the performance tune and then used the procal for the TPMS shutoff and the tire size (Procal seemed more accurate).

Well, I had the tire pressur reduced as the tire shop had them at 45, down to 30 and the TPMS light came on. Thinking that was a coincidence since again, no sensors for 2+ weeks. I am going to try to run the procal and the Hypertech together again. Any others thoughts are welcome.

When we did your lift, I didn't mess with the TPMS. I only set the steering wheel center function. Let me know if you want to use my procal to set the TPMS to zero. I had to do mine when I put on the new tires.
