Default Tpms

K I had tires put on last night and they said my tpms sensors are cracked and beat up. I want reason to take them on anyways. My question in with the super chips can u turn off the tpms system and just put normal valve stems in ?

I believe the AEV Procal is the only one that lets you trun off the TPMS. I have it and it worked great. TPMS is only for those who don't check tire pressure. You have a few Ford Explorers roll over, and everybody needs expensive valve stems!

You can lower the tpms settings so the light doesn't come on till the pressure in the tire reaches whatever you have it set for but you cannot disable the whole tpms feature

Superchips allows you to do this but I think you need to download the special module to do so.... Don't recall right now...

Yeah, breaking and reseating a bead will likely not happen in your garage with seriously risking a little too much. If the tire is off already, just take it to a shop and it should not cost you more than ten bucks to get them to take it out.

^^^ This. I bought new wheels and don't have any TPMS sensors installed at all. Bought an AEV Procal and set it to 0, no light ever. Just make sure you check your tire pressure every so often
