If I don't install tpms sensors in my new wheels will the indicator on the dash stay on and warn me all the time?

Yes it will, I'm going through this right now.. I was thinking of just putting a sensor in the spare but everyone on here says it will still go off... the only way to stop the chime and light it to get a programer..

Yes. Mine work for now, but when the sensor batteries go dead it will be Procal time.

I'm assuming aev procal is a reprogramming of the computer? Does t
hat have to be through dealership?

No dealer needed. It will set the system pressure to zero so the light never comes on. It does some other nice tricks also - check out the manufacturer's Web site.

There is another option if you still have the sensors and just didn't put them in.

1. Take a section of PVC pipe, big enough to fit 5 sensors in.

2. Cap one end. Drop all 5 sensors into it.

3. Drill the other end cap and install an air valve. Seal the other end.

4. Bring pressure up to 28-30 psi.

5. Zip tie pipe section under seat (or wherever you'd prefer)

The computer will pick up all 5 sensors reading acceptable pressure. I had this done to my M3 for a while after installing rims not compatible with the sensor.
