I am not really sure if there are enough cases of track bars breaking in JKs to make a guess at how probably it would be on a BB. You can say if it ain't broke don't fix it (or however that goes), but I'd just find someone locally who can weld a support on there for you. To me the security would be worth the very small price you'd have to pay for it. If you are planning to wheel it much I'd say go for it.

I think the one problems involving lifts and trackbars are with Skyjacker. They came out with the lift too fast, and did not take the time to work out the bugs. I think you'll be OK if you go with another company.

Also what Still Living said, a support would be great no matter who you choose for your lift.

As long as your lift doesn't intail putting a track bar bracket on to your axle you should be fine.

I would agree, the relocater gives more leverage, that'll help break it off....

I have the ultimate kit, with adjustable track bars, (no relocater bracket)
and Have not had any issues...

So which lifts provide a frame mounted lowering bracket for the trackbar as opposed to the track bar bracket on to your axle?

The full traction lift relocator is mounted on the FRAME. This is the kit that you want!

Teraflex is another that you want (it mounts on the frame)
