Default Track Bar Choice Emergency

Hi All,

I have a 3" lift with a stock track bar and the Jeep is in the shop after being run off the road suffering a bent front track bar among other damage. The Jeep friendly frame/body shop just called and said if I wanted to go aftermarket they would put the price of the stock track bar toward an adjustable.

I did a quick search and it seems that the best out there is the Teraflex Monster bar especially if you back off the price of the stock bar. Since I need to order this thing like right now any quick input as to what seems to be the best choice would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Definately the teraflex. It's a beast and can be adjusted without unbolting it. Just like the factory tie rod, it has a collar that you rotate to lengthen it or shorten it. That makes recentering your axles about a 1 minute job with the jeeps tires on the ground. It rocks!

I'm not trying to start a Chevy vs Ford war but I'm curious why people would recommend the JKS over the Teraflex? Usually when you compare two products they are similar enough that it's 6 of one or a half dozen of the other. But in this case the Teraflex is a much beefier (forged), can be adjusted without unbolting it. So I'm just curious if there is some other reason people would think the JKS was a better choice. Price?

JKS

Teraflex

JKS track bars and brackets.
If I remember correctly the TF track bar is twice the price and imo the JKS track bar is plenty beefy.

If you are running a 3" lift I say get a high steer kit, and if using the Tera steering kit go with their track bar. if you use the AEV kit use the JKS bar.

I love the Teraflex bar. I just wish they went with a johnny/poly joint set up instead of rubber. Rubber does not hold up as well over time and has to be pressed out to replace.
