Default track bar mount re-enforcement

after seeing a couple track bar mount failures on the trail i followed another members write up on strengthening the mounting point and decided to do it myself.
made a couple of templates:

cut out the 1/4" thick metal pieces and welded(not a pro welder) them in place:

painted it up:

hopefully it helps prevent the failure.

Not a pro? It looks great to me. You might think about reinforcment on the frame side too, since you're in the mood. They do break there, as well.

I would worry some about welding too much and creating brittleness in the metal, particularly on a small piece like that.

When I had my JKS rear trackbar brace installed, I had a well known welding shop do the work and they stitch welded it. This leaves the piece somewhat unfinished by way of what's welded up, but offers a stronger overall attachment point for the rear SB, this according to people a lot smarter than I am.

FWIW
