Default Track bars

I have a OME lift kit along with the adjustable track bar, purchased them as a kit. My front track bar is coming loose on the drivers side, I have to put a wrench to it more than I should. What I'm seeing is that the track bar that fit into the bracket on the passenger side is in a bit of a bind. Almost as if the track bar wasn't bent in the correct position or angle. anyone out there finding that there track bar front and rear are off somewhat. Or would a relocation bracket work better?

are you making sure to tighten your track bar to 125 ft. lbs. of torque on both ends? also, being that you are taller and have not installed adjustable lower control arms, the bind you are experiencing is completely normal and fine. with new arms lengthened to reposition your axle to where it should be, it wouldn't do this.

Since it is an adjustable bar, you can loosen the jam nut and straighten out the heim joint. As far as the frame end loosening, you might have to over torque it to squeeze the bracket against the bushing. I have read on here that some people had to take it as high as 175 to get it tight. Mine was the opposite, I actually had to spread my mount apart to get the bushing end in. So 125 has worked fine for mine. I also use red locktight on it. I have never had it come loose.

Default track bar

Would it be helpful to add the relocation bracket on the front and rear Track Bars?
I'm finding out that the small lift kits are just a stop gap and a full tracktion lift kit would be much better, that is if you are going to wheel on some tough trails. well baring the recent Sidwinder and Bronco peak trail runs Thanks for your replys

Nope. An adjustable trackbar is your best option up to about 4" of lift.

As for as the binding goes,Your jamnut was not tightened enough or it loosened ,To keep that heim joint straight , you need to unbolt that end from the bracket , loosen the jamnut , get your joint straight, stick a large screwdriver through the joint to hold it straight wile you tighten the jam nut with a big crecent or pipe wrench. Your heim joint should stay straight then. Course , check after wheelin and flexin.
