Default Trackbar Issues

So about 5-6 weeks ago my rig started to re develop death wobble. looking at my JKS trackbar in the frame side mount it was sitting in there at an angle. meaning the end of the track bar was not parallel with the mount but the bushing was being forced to be.

Today i removed the whole thing. the bushing is wedged at an angle that was parallel to the mount while the trackbar itself was not.

I reinstalled my factory track bar, jarred and jounced the crap out of the suspension and torqued everything to spec. took it for a test drive.

I was getting the DW at speed between 40-50 MPH when i hit a large pot hole or other bump in the road. i drove around for 20min trying to get the DW to come back and i could not now that the factory trackbar is back on.

First question; Does anyone thing my track bar is bent? thats the only explanation i can come up with for why it was sitting in the mount the way it was.

second question, With my factory trackbar back in, my axle is 1 1/2" off center to the driver side (driver side: spring perch to outer lug on tire = 15.5" Pass. side: spring perch to outer lug on tire = 14"). Firday im driving to Florida from MA, is it ok to go that far with my axle that far off center?

going to get pics of my JKS trackbar now

What are you torquing the track bar too?

Looks like the bushing is just pinched over. Try and see if you can get it centered into the mounting point.

125 ft/lbs.

even with the bushing centered it still sits at an angle. the factory track bar is fine.

with all that aside though i don't have to worry too much about driving it for a while with the axle of center right?

center that axle, get it over to a reputable modified alignment shop.

With the 3.5" springs and no control arms the track bar mount on the axle and frame would no longer be lined up.

but when i put the factory back on its fine

ive been wanting to switch to the teraflex trackbar anyway so ill grab that and maybe some lower arms and see if that works
