Default Trackbar madness!!!

I'm pretty new at the Jeep thing. I've got a 2013 Rubicon Unltd. The jeep already had a cheap 2.5-3" lift on it that was slapped together by some outfit outside of Dallas called Black Mountain Outfitters/Collins Bros. I now have 25k miles on the jeep and I'm replacing just about everything that the "outfitter" touched. I am now looking at replacing/re-positioning the rear trackbar. I have read until my eyes hurt and I cant tell if I should be buying a new trackbar and relocation brackets or keeping the brackets and buying just a trackbar. I also don't understand if buying an adjustable trackbar eliminates the need to use the relocation brackets. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm pretty new at this and I'm open to any wisdom the folks here have to offer.

Thanks

KC

Most people will do both or the raised mount on the axle.
I have a 4" EVO and I have the stock track bar on a raised axle mount.
This helps to give you back your better roll center while centering the rear axle back.
Mine is pretty much centered so I haven't gotten a new adjustable track bar.
You could get just the adjustable bar and just run that but if your front end has a dropped frame mount or raised axle mount you should have that in the rear as well.

Up front I have a raised axle mount, adjustable JKS track bar and a flipped drag link.
This works perfectly with my rear stock bar and raised axle mount to give me a much better roll center.

for a 2.5-3" lift stock track bar and axle side relocation bracket is about as good as it gets for the money.

2.5 = front adjustable track bar, in the rear a axle side relocation bracket.

Over 3" a Front axle side relocation bracket, flipped drag link and stock TB.

Default Thanks for the advice

I appreciate the advice from everyone and I'm gonna order an adjustable trackbar and bracket. I've also had to order all new bushings for the sway bar and end links. I'll move to the front end next.

Take a look at the new Superlift TB's. I got this as a gift, and previously would not recommend a Superlift product. This track bar is very nice, it utilizes 2 patent pending Dual Durometer bushings similar to synergy's. The jeep handles better BUT I did discover a worn Heim joint. Totally worth $119

What is the correct front adjustable track bar length for a 2.5 lift. I am about to install one and would like to get it close on the first shot. I am guessing about 1/2" longer an stock???

how many miles on the hemi joint that was worn? $119 is a deal for sure especially if it is a nice piece.
