Default Traction control after lifting

Anyone have any idea why the traction control/bas light is on after installing 4" lift and 35's. Traction lamp can be turned off but comes on automatically when ignition switch is turned to on position. BAS lamp stays on. Any ideas?

Did you re-center your steering wheel?

all to do with the alignment, unless you did damage the wiring, doubt you did that. Same thing on my 08, easily fixable

Do the steering wheel dance and turn it off. Won't work right with the lift and large tires anyway. http://www.jpmagazine.com/techarticl...tem/index.html

I had this because of the "wiring being cut" problem. Fixed it with my wiring but also learned something else.

Some jeep sensors are more sensative than others. This means that some jeeps have problems with the computer after lifting, even though most do not.

This is the same problem that Toyota Tundras have. Some of those trucks, even with a small lift, get the computer warning and traction control intervention - on even slow turns. The dealer told my friend that the only fix was to remove his lift, or buy another truck and hope it doesn't have the problem.

Same with jeeps? I don't know. My JKU works fine with more than 5" of lift and 38" tires. I don't have any computer lights and the system doesn't activate during any normal driving...
