Default Traction Control - issues...

Anyone have issues with their traction control EPS after lifting their jeep? I put on 2.5" of lift and now when I'm hitting corners and braking my EPS goes haywire.

Is there an adjustment for this?

Thanks

Jtr

I recently installed a 4" lift and haven't been able to make the esp activate yet. After the lift I followed the Basic Do-it-Yourself Jeep JK Wrangler Front End Alignment write up and have had no problems.

Angry tried everything

i have recentered my steering wheel and reprogrammed the computer for the new gearsets and 33in tires and im still having the problem, sometimes its the cornering issue but most of the time all three lights come on and the abs shuts off and disables my cruise control. the dealership told me the reflash would fix it but it didnt, it did recalibrate my speedometer though. how far off does the steering wheel have to be for it to cause this? mine is centered, but i think it could be moved a hair counterclockwise...btw does anyone know what DTC P0017 is??? not on the list and im not the only one with a ? about it

Ditto on the steerign wheel being straight. Adjust the drag link until everything lines up. Also, looks like you are running wheels pacers, or the tires dont have much back spacing. This will amplify the issue as the tires are being pushed out from the center line of the knuckle. This causes the tires to roll at different speeds. Well, they always roll at different speeds when turning, but it makes the difference between them greater.

Follow my lead and turn that mutha off! I tried centering the wheel with no luck, so I just found the section in the owner's manual that tells how to permanently disable the traction system. I figure that 20 years ago people drove Jeeps without it, why do I need it? I can turn it back on anytime I want with a few short steps outlined in the manual.
