Default Traction control keeps going off

Running a 3 inch lift and 37 tires with a psc ram assist . For the life of me I can't stop the traction control from going off around turns . Alignment is good and steering wheel is straight , running out of ideas only thing left is to pull the fuse for it .

what air pressure you running on the tires? If it's low enough and you're highway driving it or hitting turns fast enough, it will trigger the traction control. Also a bad shock, thus all the weight being supported by the coil, will also cause it to trigger off.

Ask me how I know

Also check to make sure your swaybar and sway links are properly setup. Incorrect swaybar setup will cause too much body roll which can also trigger it.

Once in a blue moon i can get it to trigger at just the right speed and if I cut a turn hard enough.

37's, 28psi, 2.5" aev lift, front stock swaybar with JKS Flex-Connect links (trail springs installed), rear stock swaybar with stock links + Synergy relocation kit...

Same here with me. When I went to 37, I get more of that also. The higher u get, the more body roll you'll have. As suggested, check your sway bar links and your shock to make sure they're in good working order.

Same with the right speed. Tried to trigger it today and couldn't. Around 32psi with BFG k02's

For those that added the PSC assist, of course I gotta ask......is the steering wheel centered?

Also, I remember reading somewhere that depending on the valving of the PSC (or probably any hydo-assist system out there for that matter), the steering can actually become more loose / flighty. Steering feels almost like getting a lift and not properly addressing caster.

If that's the case, it will cause it to trigger. In my case my caster was off, steering was too loose for my liking and not very confidence inspiring, and it would trigger sometimes on sharp turns. Then on top of that, you have to think about anything else that would compound on that.....soft sidewalls, not enough psi, incorrect swaybar positioning, etc. etc.

I'm wondering if there's something within the programming of the electronics that monitors the steering that would trigger it. I'm thinking there is. Some kind of servo controller feedback loop. Maybe even 0-10vdc or 4-20ma signal output controlled steering/monitoring. Because if your steering is too flighty, then any positional increment left or right isn't correctly equating to the correct positional rotational increment left or right of some other reference point.

Instead of the terms "loose" and/or "flighty" it could also be "too sensitive" where a slight turn left or right *on your steering wheel* causes the wheels to turn too much compared to a stock setup. This also has been known to cause driver steering fatigue since you are constantly correcting for too much steering.

I know for a fact that if your steering wheel is off-center and you happen to be turning towards the side of the steering wheel that it has been "biased" on it will definitely trigger it.

I'm sure one of the brainiacs will chime in.

Otherwise....

No check engine lights just the traction control light going off around turns . Shocks are good and sway bar links are good ,when I did the psc assist full kit (to me it feels like it did stock ) . I am wondering if it has anything to do with the bigger side walls on the 37 tires I am running 28psi in them. Only thing I guess I could do now is install a kill switch or pull the fuse for the traction control it's starting to get annoying
