Default traction control light after flip kit install??

Installed my evo drag link flip kit and got an alignment. Now my traction control goes off contantly around turns and the engne also kicks down...... steering wheel is centered. I was very careful when removing the sensor.. any clue what could be causing this?

Is your steering wheel perfectly centered? I have not installed this kit. It requires removing a sensor?

What size lift are you running? Did you center the steering wheel with a procal?

Been running a 3.5" rc with .75" spacers for a while now... Only thing I did was install the flip kit and get an alignment. Don't have a pro call I have the flashpaq... Gonna take it back to pep boys and let em know what's going on...

Not trying to be a pest but I want to mention/ask about centering your steering wheel again?

After I installed my lift I took my JK to two different alignment shops. Neither one of them centered my steering wheel. I did not ask them to do it and they did not automatically do it. I ended up cenering it myself.

My problem was different but similair. My traction control kept coming on while taking sharp corners and my rear brakes would lock up. It was because my steering wheel was not centered.

You had to removed your drag link which connects to your pitman arm. If you did not get your steering wheel almost perfectly straight it could be throwing things off.

Not a pest what do ever man.. Your most likely right. I had to remove my drop pitman arm and put the factory back on... Howe er I drove for a day with no lights or brake issue.... I'm going to head back to the alignment shop and see if there is something they can do. Ty!

Let us know if you get it fixed. I'm getting ready to install the evo draglink flip in the next couple days.

I had to have the dealership re initialize my steering center setting as I kept getting a TC light coming on and off. It's still sometimes gets squirrelly in the parking garage at my office with the mega sharp and inclined turns.

I'll bet that's your issue. Can you use your flash paq for that?

Go ahead and install your kit. It's the alignment that caused this issue. I'm almost certain the steering wheel is off because I'm back at pep boys where I had the alignment done and they do not have any electronic equipment to recenter wheel.... Greaaaate...
