Default Trail/Adventure Rack

I did some searching and couldn't find much of an opinion on this topic other than to buy a bumper with tire swing and rack incorporated. I cant afford a bumper but I am looking at the WP adventure rack. Has anyone seen/put one on a JK? Are you happy with it. I did read on the manufacturers website to put the steel tailgate plate on for support but thats about it... any advise welcome. Thanks!

I'm interested in this too... I've contacted Warrior and asked for an installation guide or more pictures specifically dealing with the JK rigging, but haven't heard back yet.

It looks like it attaches directly to the tailgate sheet metal? I don't imagine that is very secure. No wonder they advise some sort of plate. Any idea what that entails? I've also asked them about that hoping for pictures, etc...

Just spoke with Jerry at WP. their rack with tailgate plate installed safely holds 75 lbs. He is sending install instructions and photos. I will share when I get them.

75 lbs... That's still not much considering a cooler and two jerry cans could be attached! Awaiting what you get. Will be interested to see how this could possibly be modified/reinforced to due better duty.

I'm going to wait on the rack and save for a bumper/tire swing/rack combo. 75lbs just wont cut it for gas, water, hi-lift, shovel and most important cooler with ice for BEER!
