Trail Grapplers or MT/R's?!?
I'm torn between these two tires for my 2011 wrangler unlimited sport
295/70R17 Nitto Trail Grapplers Or 305/70R17 Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's with Kevlar With the MT/R's what's The difference between the two: 305/70R17D2 119Q W And 305/70R17D2 119Q B |
Have never run the trail grapplers but i've only read good stuff about them.
Personally, I run 35" MTRs and love them so much!! It's probably apples to apples when it comes down to it, so many variables its hard to compare one to the other...At least in my opinion. |
Trail Grapplers
I love my Trail Grapplers, they are a hell of a tire. They arent that loud either so cruising on the interstate isnt bad at all, and they have a mean look to them which just makes them more bad ass.

KM2's are now offered in 305/70/R17. Just bought a set a couple of weeks ago. Just thought I'd throw that in. The size is listed on BFG's website but not in any of my 4wd/Jeep magazines. Had a hard time getting the new size but love em.

Honestly, tires seem like the biggest decision I was ever going to make and it took me a month of reading, researching, etc...Then I ordered some, love them, and never thought about tires again. All that being said, get the Trail Grapplers. They were my second choice!

I've been doing a TON of research as well on this as I am making the move to 35's soon. I think I will be heading Trail Grapplers from what I was looking at, they just look very aggressive and scored great in every category, not just one or 2 of them. However not much sand close to me, so I don't think that matters! :rotflmao2:
