Default Trail Master lifts

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with Trail Master lifts? Are they any good? Looking at a 3" coil lift for my JKUR. They have them at a really good price. It's my DD and sees light off road use on weekends. Any input is appreciated!! Thanks

Look past the price. Does it have all of the components you will want for a 3" lift?

It does, but I'm not sure if Trail Master is a good brand or not.

Not sure which lift you're looking at but the one I saw is very bare bones for the price. You will probably want to add longer swaybar end links and some geo-correction brackets at a minimum.

The lift will make room for larger tires but it's definitely not complete. Something to think about.

I met a guy the other day that had a trail master lift that he purchased through 4 wheel parts. He was very happy with it. It was a basic budget boost 2.5 lift. His only complaint was the shocks that came with it were too stiff. When it comes to lift most of these budget lifts are relatively the same. If I had to do it all over again I would give the brand a try and use the money saved on better shocks.

Thanks, that's good to know. I was looking at the 3" coil and shock lift. I read a review on it, and the guy said he really likes it. Although, it gave him more than 3" of lift and he said he had to order a front track bar, It didn't come in the kit. He also said that the rear track bar bracket hit the shock at almost full stuff. If that's the case, I'll wait and order a kit that already has the track bars in it.

While you are looking at axle centering, you might look in to kit with some form of caster correction as well.

If you haven't opened the two threads stuck to the top of this modified area yet, there is a lot of good information in them.

Yes I have seen and read a bunch of the stickies, and you are right, there's a ton of info. I agree about the caster. I think I'm going to go for the AEV 3.5 sc lift, it seems to include everything!! Just have to save a little longer, but I think it will be worth it.
