Default Trail master and smitty built

As anyone ever had a trail master lift? How are they? I'm looking at the 4-5 inch lift for my 2012 jk wrangler unlimited 4 door and I would like some insight before I buy.
Also I'm looking at the smitty built stinger bumper. Has anyone ever had this? Is it good quality or junk?

I had the trail master on my 08 sport auto. My first jeep and first experience with any lifted vehicle. So at first I thought it was just a "jeep thing" but now I think it was junk. I've also heard that from others. I am now running a 2.5" TF coil lift on my 2012 JKUR. Love this lift by the way.

I only had that Jeep for a few months then traded it in on an infinity. I was traveling 700 miles a week and it was either a different car or new kidneys and spine alignment.

I would save for a better lift even if it's smaller. But that's just me.

Did you do a lot of offroad or mostly street? I understand the spine alignment but that's just about any lift at 4-5 inches I think. I plan on mostly offroading with it. Did you notice much of a difference with the 2.5 to 3 inch lift?

Mostly street, but in Louisiana those streets were like off road trails. It beat me pretty bad. I had the Jeep for about 4 months and my work transferred me to Houston which was 286 miles away. I made the trip once there and back and decided I couldnt take it for an extended period of time. Granted, I knew nothing about lifts or what I needed. So I doubt the gears were changed to account for the 35" tires i was running. However, just riding on the street one of the front shocks blew a seal and started leaking 4 weeks after I bought the vehicle. I took pictures and talked directly to Trail Master who was reluctant to send me a new shock. They finally said they would send a replacement, which arrived 4 weeks later. So in my opinion the customer service is NOT good either.

My 2.5" TF lift is great. I got it used, its on its 3rd jeep and has made a trip to Moab. I've taken several long trips and brought it off road with light rock climbing and have had no issues. I did upgrade to Bilstein shocks, prior to that I was running the stock Rubicon shocks. The Rubicon shocks worked well, but the Bilsteins are much better.
