Default Trailer Question about axle/hub

For those of you whove built your own trailer, or have a any sort of knowledge on the subject (which I dont) what axle did you use? and what hub? Ive looked and cant find an answer. I want to use my stock rubi rims and tires as my trailer tire but dont know how big I need or if their all the same or what. I would think you would need bigger/better to run a full size tire as opposed to a tiny trailer tire.

Thanks

You're going to have to go to a trailer manufacturer and get an axle. You can get any set up you want including the 5 on 5 bolt pattern. Just let them know what hubs you need and what width you want. You can get square tube, round tube, and any weight you want (1500lb, 2500 lb and so on). Look on the internet under utility trailer parts or axles and do some research. I've built 3 and have different axles on each one.
