trans input shaft.
kind of an odd question..but my 4wd drive conversion is almost complete..i will be installing the transfer case and new drive lines within the next two weeks..my ? is how much of the input shaft do i need to cut in order to fit properly into the transfer case? so pretty much if anyone knows how long is the shaft on a 4wd jk from the factory? if it helps i currently have a 2wd(not for long) 07 unlimited sahara
My understanding is that the T.case is connected directly at the output of the aut/gear box, there is no shaft connecting the T.case to the gear box.
For the length of the shaft, David from Nothridge post a thread to collect the driveshaft length in function of the lift height, you may run a search on it.
