Default trans input shaft.

kind of an odd question..but my 4wd drive conversion is almost complete..i will be installing the transfer case and new drive lines within the next two weeks..my ? is how much of the input shaft do i need to cut in order to fit properly into the transfer case? so pretty much if anyone knows how long is the shaft on a 4wd jk from the factory? if it helps i currently have a 2wd(not for long) 07 unlimited sahara

My understanding is that the T.case is connected directly at the output of the aut/gear box, there is no shaft connecting the T.case to the gear box.

For the length of the shaft, David from Nothridge post a thread to collect the driveshaft length in function of the lift height, you may run a search on it.
