Hey guys i was wondering if anyone else has had these issues on their 2013 or any of the newer JKs. Mine has randomly been acting weird, some days when i go to drive when lights turn green it acts like the parking brake on, it will rev up very high but barely go anywhere. Also i will get random days where the transmission will whine very loud almost sounding like a supercharger. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if they know what is goiing on here. Its an automatic by the way sorry i forgot to mention that before

 

I have a 2013 JKU. Only tranny problem I've had is a broken tranny fluid line.....one that had already been replaced under the recall none the less! Broke at the quick connect on the worst possible day in DFW area a few years back. Worst icy roads I'd seen in a 20+ years....whole city was essentially shut down for a couple days. Left me stranded all the way across town. Other than that, I have 56k miles on my auto and have not experienced anything like you are.

 

Hmm maybe i just got a bad trans I just find it weird that it will be whining and once i shut the engine down and start it back up its like nothing was wrong.
