Default trans skid pics

I have yet to put on the OME HD lift kit I bought on my 2 dr. JK Sport. Read where the OEM trans skid plate should be notched for the frt DS, but it looks like my Sport does not have one. Is this a Rubi item only. Pics!

If you have a 6 speed, you dont have a tranny skid

They are referring to notching the cross-member skid, and also about the driveshaft contacting the corner of the tranny pan when flexing.

The first pic shows the notch cut out of the skid, and removing the metal boot band and replacing with a zip tie.
The second pic is lowering the skid with some washers.
