Default Transfer Case Lowering??

I am swapping out lifts and have been looking at 3" to 4" kits.
Some come with transfer case lowering kits, some don't..
Is there a reason I should or should not lower the transfer case????
Does it matter if I do not? (early wear issues or whatnot)

Do you have a TJ or a JK???? The way the jk is setup, you don't lower the transfer case on any lift.

Maybe a misprint, no transfer case lowering kit is made for the jk.

lowering a t-case was only done on TJ and YJ's and were just a cheap fix that helped prevent vibrations after installing a lift. the proper way to fix that was to install a slip yoke eliminator, new drive shaft and adjustable upper control arms to set your pinion angle. the JK has a fixed yoke and CV joins on the drive shaft and so you do not need to worry about vibes or fixing them.
