Default Transfer Case Swap

What exactly would it take to bolt up a transfer case from an automatic Rubi, to a 6 speed X?

If the tail shafts are different, how does that get remedied? Can the Transfer case be modified?

Yes it can be. You can swap out tail shafts.

along those lines, Atlas makes a great splitter but only for the automatics. Would a tailshaft swap remedy this as well?
