Default transmision fluid MOPAR or ANY other..

is there a better fluid than MOPAR or do i need to stick with it??? ....

Auto or manual?

Nothing special about the MOPAR brand. For an Auto (and t-case), just be sure to use an ATF+4. See below for current list of licensed brands.


For manual, anything that meets MS9224 will do.

I've changed my fluid twice and they all seem the same. I don't think they can even make it that much different.

Others can manufacture the stuff but to use the ATF+4 trademark, they must be tested and passed by Chrysler; must use the viscosity improver made by Lubrizol; and are subjected to periodic (retail) sampling for quality assurance.
