Default Transmission Cooler

I have found the tutorials on how to install them but it looks like mine came with one from the dealer i have an 09 2 door rubicon. I am just curious why everyone still reccomend putting them on or did some not come with it? sounds like maybe it was part of the trailer/tow package wich i thought i didnt have seen as i had no hitch. Is the stock one just a pile or am i completely wrong and i dont actually have one?

thanks,

maertz

i did mine this weekend (actually 2 installations mine and my friend's jk) one of the best mods done so far... going up hill in the mountains here in PR takes a toll on the tranny and feels like it get stuck in 2nd gear (auto) and you feel loss of power when tranny oil gets too hot.

It's part of the bottom of the rad. You'll see two lines going in to it on the drivers side.

Edit, sorry. Misread prior post.

thats the oem tranny cooler.... which seems to suck.
most pople are adding an second cooler inline with the oem tranny cooler.

PSC has a kit to mount a tranny and Power Steering cooler. I have this kit for power steering only and i like it, its clean
