Default Transmission linkage bushing

Got the bushing off amazon. Quick fix for an otherwise expensive linkage replacement since there is no oem replacement part.

There have been folks asking about this in the past but it doesn't seem anyone follows through.

Where is it that intend to put this unit? The piece that many folks break does have a factory piece to replace it....and for $3-5.

Have you installed the bushing? Any chance you could post a picture of it installed?

There is an OEM part available. MOPAR part number 68064273AB. They were 39¢ each a few years ago. I believe this part for the t-case linkage is the same for the automatic transmission linkage on the pre-2012 JKs.

I have a few of them in my glove box. Haven't needed to use one yet.

I bought 2. Put the first on on my broken bushing at the top the linkage / where it connects to the shifter. I currently have the lower one zip tied & it's held up for a couple years now. I'll replace it at some point when I feel like getting on my back. The bushing you're talking about is the 4x4 transfer case linkage. It broke on me several times, I finally installed the advanced adapters cable upgrade.

Yes. However...
People have used it on the transmission shifter linkage, too.

Yep - people like me, it's what I have on the lower bushing! You gotta use zip ties like I stated above, so it's basically rigged & zip ties will break. This replaces the bushing & you don't have to zip tie it, which there wasn't room for the top one to be zip tied anyways. The install took about a minute.
