Default Transmission noise

My 09 jku rubicon has developed a noise. It makes from a stop to about 10 mph. However it does it with the t case in neutral sitting still too. When going from park to drive or reverse it makes it also. It sounds like a clicking noise for a few seconds. I have video of the noise but i dont know if i can upload it on here. Any ideas at all?

It has 81k miles on it. It has 35's with a small lift. I have only owned it for a few months but never noticed the noise before

Check the tranny fluid......
I had to rebuild the transmission of my 2 door jk ones so I'm paranoid with any transmission noise lol

Check fluid also the for leaks etc

If the sound is when you shift gears that can be a solenoid and that's normal nothing to worry about good luck

It does sound like a solenoid when shifting into drive or reverse. If i drive beside a wall i can hear a rattle almost like a clicking noise. A bb in an empty paint can. Very tinny sound like a heat shield. Fluid doesnt stink more that normal, no leaks and its full.

My 2 door had the same noise before I rebuild the transmission...

Wait no edit even after I rebuild the tranny I still had the same noise after driving for some time

Check the driveshaft

ReSharp001 thanks for your input
being a manual transmission i was told anything bad anywhere in the drive line would resonate up through the gear shifter. We hear the noise mostly in third but it happens in all gears. (Sorry if I wasn't clear on that) again thank you for the input. the hunt for the noise continues. Lol
