Transmission Problem
I have a 09 Rubicon 3.8 Automatic with 4" lift, 35" muds, 5.13 ratios, aftermarket oil cooler, RIPP supercharger, decatted, superchips etc.
An issue recently started with the transmission. The gearbox oil gets hot very quickly. When reaching around 105 Celsius, the box start to slip and kicks into neutral. Gearlever stays in Drive though.
The box was overhauled last week. All new components fitted from dealer by gearbox specialist.
The exact same problem still prevails.
Any ideas what could be causing this?

Is the transmission cooler blocked somehow? Put your hand on the oil lines (carefully) when the transmission is hot and the engine is running. One line should be hotter than the other. Cool lines means no oil is running through the cooler.
Is the torque converter not locking up? An unlocked converter makes more heat.

Thanks, I'll make sure they check both possibilities.
It started slipping immediately after the superchips was fitted. Never had the problem before. Is it at all possible that the chip can be causing the problem?
