Default trek armor question

My seat covers don't have holes in the top to put my headrests through. Is this normal? Should I cut holes in the top? Also the covers have a flap with a velcro strip. Should this be pushed between the seats?

Default normal

The both sets that I have had didn't have holes in them for the headrest.

Once I put on the seat cover I took a razor blade and made a little hole in where the headrest needs to go. basically find the hole and push the blade in not much is needed for the bars of the headrest to go threw.

There is a video on install on youtube or trek armor's website.

Mine did not have any either. I used a screw driver and heated it with a lighter and burned through the covers into the holes. I waited about 3 weeks before I did this so that if the covers shifted the holes would still be aligned.
